The roadbook points to driving. Northbound Travel and other crossing permits are different schemes. Door-to-door minutes are not checked.

It does not include same-day tickets or meal prices, unfilled minutes between stops, or a door-to-door time from Hong Kong to the first stop.

How to get there
Leave Hong Kong first, then follow the roadbook’s local transport. The hubs are checked. Trains, fares and door-to-door time are not in this roadbook.
The roadbook names the Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link. This site has not checked a Hong Kong departure hub for that link. Northbound Travel goes via Zhuhai, not that link.

Northbound Travel enters the mainland at Zhuhai, then continues toward this city. It is not a ride to the attraction, and it does not authorise driving into Macao.
